    Celebrate the Season: Discover Adventure Forest, the iconic 500-foot-long climbing course and immersive art installation, open in summer. Kids can rope swing over obstacles, conquer glass and log bridges, shoot down a 70-foot-long slide, and discover panoramic views of Denver from 90 feet in the air at the tippy top lookout! Then cool off at Joy Park, where you can race boats down the river, dip your toes in a stream as you relax in Adirondack chairs, blast The Geyser into the air and try to outrun the falling water (or not!), and get wet in the spray of The Twisted Mister.

    Create: Make a masterpiece in The Art Studio or learn about nutrition and interesting ingredients alongside a seasoned chef in The Teaching Kitchen.

Tips

The Children’s Museum is designed for children newborn through 8 years old and their grown-ups, but kids of all ages can have fun at the Museum.

A typical visit lasts one to three hours. Give yourself plenty of time to explore.

For a better visit, consider leaving your stroller in your car.

Get some fresh air at the outdoor park, open year-round. In summer, come dressed to scramble, crawl, swing and slide in closed-toe shoes at the seasonal Adventure Forest and bring your bathing suit to play in the Joy Park water features.

Children and adults must stay together. No adults are allowed in the Museum without a child, and no children without an adult.

Adults-only events are not included; event pricing varies.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth it? Yes. Room for improvement? Yes. Overall I believe the CityPASS to be a good value and would purchase again. My family and I had a short stay in Denver for a conference and found that as long as we made it to 2 of the 3 locations the CityPASS paid for itself. 2 of 3 is all we were able to accomplish and was satisfied with that being so our children spent hours engaged at each location filling a large portion of each day. I enjoyed the aspect of the CityPASS encouraging us to visit the locations that we did because otherwise we may have looked elsewhere for kid friendly entertainment. The Zoo and Museum of Nature and Science exceeded our expectations for us as parents and our children, ages 5 & 3. Because there is always room for improvement i would say the experience would have been better if the lines/entry to the locations were more catering the CityPASS holders. The CityPASS has to then be confirmed at each location, and this process means you have to stand in line with others as if you still need to purchase a ticket for that location. Because the CityPASS QR Code is not a "ticket" and just a confirmation number basically. I feel the QR code received through CityPASS should work as a ticket itself for the venues of choice to allow CityPASS holders to skip the ticket line and go straight the admission line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CityPASS was well worth it I purchased a CityPASS as part of a weeklong series of day trips in my city. Beforehand, I researched how much I’d pay without the pass and discovered that by using CityPASS I’d came out ahead. There were a nice variety of venues I was interested in covered by the pass. Using the pass was simple, quick and convenient. I highly recommend using CityPASS to anyone who is visiting someplace new or wants to spend time exploring places closer to home.
